Unlike the title of a very sordid movie
this tale is about the sordid collection of
craft products that had to be gone through!
OH THE HUMANITY.
I've gotten most things put away, sorted
or stacked for a destash.
Somethings have just got to go!
Sorting beads is like staring at tiny dots,
you can't pick up,
while a small evil Garden Gnome stabs
you between the shoulder blades.
Bead sorting = not fun.
...and yet how I love beads...
They have bewitched me body and soul.
Oh wait ...that's Pride and Prejudice...
This is the first day I have actually gotten to sit,
ENJOY some bead porn
and not run screaming from the room.
(*chased by a wee evil gnome*)
How I missed thee.
Let me count the ways...
color, facets and sparkle.
I have a pile of prototypes from last year
I can now start to work on.
I really like the new higher desk.
(It's actually a hollow core door on 2 bookcases.)
I don't have to lean over as much and it's a good height
(for me) to prop my elbows up.
I don't end up all
ears at my elbows cramped up.
Almost everything in here has been
recycled from somewhere else in the house.
Then I saw this awesome storage unit at
and couldn't resist it!
I also moved some collages down from my
bedroom, they go in here perfectly!
Most of all I really can't wait for Spring.
We are just drowning in low temperatures and snow.
Dirty, compacted, frozen, drippy, snow.
Really Spring if you are out there
wave or something...
I'll come pick you up.
Thinking about Spring markets and maybe
a few pop-up shop events.
Pop up shops seem to be the new black.
Anyone do this or been to a "pop up" event?
Let me know how it was.
Stay warm and light a candle for Spring!
